We were unsure if an appeal would be worthwhile especially as many people told us the Council don't like it when people appeal! Martin quickly gave me the confidence that appealing was the right thing and that we had nothing to lose. He reviewed our plans and quickly gave an assessment with a 70% probability that the appeal would be successful - so we went ahead. We were so pleased when the decision was made to overturn the original rejection decision and we really felt like logic and objectivity prevailed at last! Huge thanks to Martin!
