Fantastic no nonsense service from Martin at Just Planning. After waiting nearly a year to get planning permission we were plunged into what can only be described as hell attempting to get planning permission a second time due to a 37cm height error by our builder. With the threat of full removal of the roof at huge expense due to the owner of a neighbouring property working in Local Council Planning. Martin gave us a free assessment with honest, upfront guidance that we should be successful at appeal after the Local Authority dragged their feet making a decision, then gave a refusal once my appeal was submitted. Guess what he was right! we got permission granted last week. He has the ability to only see the facts of what became understandably such a personal issue for us, he gave guidance on what was relevant and what should be included. A true professional in his field, highly recommended for applicants who are having difficulties with what can be an archaic and at times a biased Local Authority system.

My wife and I are delighted that we chose Martin from Just Planning to manage our appeal. Our extension plans have been going on for around a year now and after the council rejected our plans I never thought it was going to happen. The appeal document that Martin produced was excellent. Our house is in a conservation area and Martin provided good arguments for why our plans should be allowed to go ahead; including examples of other similar houses under conservation, with similar plans that were accepted. Martin is very quick to produce your appeal and get the ball rolling, encourages suggestions around where changes to the content may need to be made and kept us up to date throughout the process. The cost of using Just Planning was also very reasonable, with the quote being the cheapest one we received. Our appeal was approved last week and our extension work is due to start very soon.
